Get Creative this Autumn and Winter…
There’s just 3 months left of 2019 and winter is most definitely on its way! Yet, as the nights draw in and the weather turns colder, there’s plenty to be looking forward to at The Studio.
A variety of tempting courses are lined up for the autumn months and to kick off the season of goodwill, we have brand new workshops, as well as some festive favourites returning.
Towards the end of October, we have The Arty Crafty Place returning for their fantastic Indian Block Printing Workshop, with authentic, hand-carved wood blocks from Jaipur. A perfect opportunity for gift-making; participants will leave with several block printed goodies, such as tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers and scarves.
Then, as the festive time of year draws nearer, we have several Christmas-themed courses and workshops on offer to welcome the season. Our Modern Calligraphy for Christmas led by Lauren Cooper of “Oh Wonder Calligraphy” and our brand new Festive Charcoal Drawing course, lead by Bex Gouverneur. Participants will follow a step-by-step process to produce a Christmas stag drawing, with the option to have their illustration printed onto Christmas cards following the course.
Returning for two sessions of seasonal cheer, the delightful Rhubarb & Roses team will be leading their festive Christmas Wreath Workshop on Saturday 30th November, with refreshments and mince pies to add the fun and at the beginning of December, Hazel Godfrey returns with her glorious Willow Christmas Tree Workshop - a sustainable option for use inside or out.
We look forward to getting creative with you over the next few months!
